Website Terms

These terms govern use of sixtyfold.dev, its documentation, demonstrations, and public services (the Site). The provider is identified in the Legal Notice.

Using the Site

You may read and use the public Site lawfully. Do not disrupt the Site, evade access or rate controls, probe systems without written permission, introduce malware, scrape protected endpoints, or use the public market relay as a general-purpose data feed. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, illegal activity, material misuse, or provider obligations.

Free commercial-development and paid perpetual licences are offered to businesses, sole traders, freelancers, and other professional users. A person accepting terms for an organisation confirms that they may bind it.

Software and content

Site access does not itself grant a software licence. The public source is available under PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0. Commercial development is separately available for free under the Licensing and Commercial Terms; a paid licence is required before Production Use or Commercial Redistribution as those terms define them. The licensing terms control if they conflict with these website terms.

Different Planet and its licensors retain all rights not expressly granted. Third-party names and datasets remain subject to their own notices and licences. Do not use the Sixtyfold or Different Planet names, logos, or identities to imply endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship.

Documentation and demonstrations

Documentation and examples are general technical information. Demonstrations may use historical, delayed, synthetic, sampled, or attributed third-party data. They are not financial, trading, electrical-safety, weather, or other professional advice and must not be treated as a live operational system.

We may change or withdraw Site content and availability. Published package versions remain governed by their accompanying licence and notices.

Purchases

Non-production commercial development, private CI, testing, access-controlled staging and review builds, and proofs of concept are available without a payment card, account, registration, licence key, or time limit. Personal and other qualifying noncommercial use remains available under the public licence. Paid plans are one-time perpetual purchases of the current major version, required before Production Use or Commercial Redistribution.

Solo, Company, and Enterprise & OEM licences are sold through hosted Stripe Managed Payments checkout when Checkout is available. Link is the merchant of record for those transactions, which checkout and receipts identify as Sold through Link. Stripe/Link handles payment processing, indirect taxes, receipts, transaction support, and transaction refunds under the terms shown at checkout; Different Planet remains the software licensor and product-support provider. Company purchasers must confirm that the named legal entity has no more than 50 employees when it buys the applicable major version. The current Solo and Company products include every update within the purchased major version. A purchase made before the first stable release also includes the current prereleases and the complete first stable major version. Enterprise & OEM covers one legal entity of any size and up to 10 commercially redistributed products. Larger portfolios, multiple legal entities, affiliates, and custom terms require a separate signed order. Checkout shows the charged currency, applicable taxes, one-time price, and final total before purchase. You must provide accurate purchaser, professional, plan-eligibility, and billing information where requested. A later major version is a separate optional full-price purchase. The version already bought never expires, no subscription or maintenance renewal exists, and a later major version never disables or narrows existing rights. Standard support follows the current major version; the preceding major receives critical fixes for 12 months after its successor becomes current.

Different Planet does not create a Sixtyfold customer account or copy hosted Checkout purchaser details into a Sixtyfold customer or licence database. The Stripe/Link transaction record and the buyer's receipt identify the purchased plan, purchased major version, accepted terms, and payment outcome. Different Planet may retrieve that provider record when necessary for product support, a refund, a dispute, legal compliance, or accounting, as the Privacy Notice explains.

When available, software access begins electronically immediately after successful checkout. The required terms checkbox records the buyer's request for immediate delivery and, where mandatory consumer law applies, acknowledgment that beginning digital delivery may affect a statutory withdrawal right. Any voluntary refund guarantee is separate from and does not limit mandatory rights.

Different Planet's voluntary refund guarantee applies to each eligible Solo or Company purchase of a new major version requested within 30 calendar days under the Licensing and Commercial Terms. Separately, under Stripe's current Managed Payments rules, Stripe/Link may issue a refund in its discretion within 60 days of the original transaction and may refund a transaction if Different Planet does not respond to a transaction-support escalation within 48 hours. That authority does not extend Different Planet's 30-day guarantee. Only a completed full refund or a final lost chargeback or other final reversal of the full original payment ends the associated paid commercial licence. A pending refund, open dispute, or partial refund or reversal does not. If the full payment is restored after a failed or cancelled refund or a rare later chargeback win or withdrawal, the licence is reinstated only when that payment event was the sole reason for revocation, as the Licensing and Commercial Terms explain.

Availability and liability

The Site may be interrupted and links to third-party services are provided for convenience. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site, documentation, and demonstrations are provided as is and as available. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Governing law

These terms and related non-contractual obligations are governed by Portuguese law. To the extent permitted by mandatory law, the courts with territorial jurisdiction over Lisbon, Portugal have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not remove any non-waivable right, competent supervisory-authority process, or right to seek urgent relief in another competent court.
